So my 2013 528i has been acting up lately, rough shifts especially when cold and sometimes a weird delay going into reverse. I took it to a general garage in Mussafah and they basically told me they don't want to touch the gearbox, said I need a specialist. Fair enough I guess. Started looking around online and found a few mentions of a BMW specialist in the area that deals with ZF units specifically, which is what my car has. But before I commit I wanted to ask here if anyone has actually used them or knows another place doing expert BMW transmission repair near ICAD (https://bmw-garage.ae/gearbox-and-transmission-repair/). I'm in Abu Dhabi so Mussafah area works fine for me. Not looking for the cheapest option, I just want someone who won't make it worse. Car has about 140k km on it now. Any firsthand experience would help a lot, I don't want to keep driving it like this and risk damaging something bigger.
